Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) is a specialized type of concrete that is produced in a batching plant under controlled conditions and then transported to the construction site using transit mixers. It is made by carefully proportioning cement, fine aggregates (sand), coarse aggregates (gravel or crushed stone), water, and often admixtures like plasticizers or retarders to improve workability and performance.

Sometimes supplementary materials like fly ash or slag are also added for better durability and cost-effectiveness. The main advantage of RMC is that the mix is designed in the plant based on technical requirements and delivered ready to pour, ensuring consistent quality, strength, and minimal waste at site.
